The renewal process is designed to promote continuous professional development, foster knowledge, and improve professional skills. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How often does recertification take place?<\/strong><br \/>\nHolders of the CPT by NASM Personal Trainer certification must take a recertification exam every two years to maintain the validity of their certification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the requirements for renewal?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CPT graduates must earn 2 continuing education units (2 <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Continuing_education_unit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEUs<\/a>) from accredited educational programs within two years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>These programs should be designed to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. New training techniques.<\/p>\n<p>2. New ways of evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>3. Advanced asceticisms.<\/p>\n<p>4. Ways of designing exercise programmes.<\/p>\n<p>5. Nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>6. Customer Relations and Sports Marketing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the review process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Please submit certified copies of the diplomas you have earned.<\/p>\n<p>2. A photocopy of your CPT by NASM certification and your CPR-AED certification.<\/p>\n<p>3.
